Dear Marlins,

Thank you all for an amazing Fall/Winter season. We are so happy that many of you have continued swimming with us this spring. We are working a LOT on stroke technique. The swimmers are really improving their strokes and during practices we often have kids watch each other’s strokes, watch video clips of Olympic swimmers, have the coaches get in the water with the kids, and more!!

For those of you who are taking a break we will be opening registration for next year's Fall/Winter season in early August. Stay tuned for more details.

Next week for Passover the schedule is as follows:

NO PRACTICE:
Monday, April 14th
Tuesday, April 15th
Monday, April 21st
Tuesday, April 22nd

We WILL have practice the Wednesday and Thursday of both of those weeks!

Enjoy the beautiful weather and see you on the pool deck!

The JCC Metro Marlins Swim Team is a comprehensive competitive swim program. The program's mission is to enhance and progress swimming skills while developing self-respect and discipline, sportsmanship, and commitment through healthy competition. The team is co-ed, with swimmers of varying skills and abilities from the ages of 5 through high school.

All Metro Marlins Swim Team members are expected to participate in away meets by traveling to other JCC hosting swim team. These teams are all located within about an hour drive or less of our facility. All Metro Marlins Swim Team parents are expected to participate by volunteering to help host and run home swim meets, and other team building and social events.

Our Curriculum

Our Curriculum

Learning From Experience

The difference between just looking and really seeing-that is the JCC MetroWest Early Childhood experience. We believe that learning is everywhere and we weave it into your child's day in a nurturing, safe, and fun-filled environment that will prepare your child for the academic challenges ahead.

Our unique An Ethical Start® values curriculum, which is based on the teachings of Pirkei Avot, the Ethics of our Fathers, helps your child understand the world around him or her. Original books and music and lessons full of practical applications for daily living bring An Ethical Start® alive in the classroom. Jewish history, language, values, and ideas are all integrated into classroom life.

Children learn from experience. At JCC MetroWest, we provide the tools so they can grow and flourish.

A Different Way of Looking at the World

Appearances can be misleading. We want children to understand how important it is not to make judgments about people based on only what they see. Our goal is to open their eyes to a different way of looking at the world.

At JCC MetroWest, we look at your child as an individual who “can do” and we build his or her self-awareness and self-esteem. At the same time, we fuel their love of learning in an enriched environment full of reading, math, language, science, art, and music.
