Start the Summer Off Right!
Early Childhood Pre-Camp
For ages 31/2-5
Monday, June 18-Friday, June 22
9:00am-1:30pm (CJ)
Sports and games in the gym, free swim, art projects, outdoor play,
snack and lunch. Bring bathing suit, towel, and dairy lunch each day.
Must be 3 by December 2006 and toilet trained.

Post-Camp Programs
Keep the Summer Going!
Early Childhood Post-Camp Week 9 • ages 3–5
Monday, August 20-Friday, Augsut 24
Don’t let your summer fun end! Join us for a 9th week of camp at
the Cooperman or Lautenberg JCC. Children can continue the same
activities they have enjoyed all summer for an additional week;
priority will be given to current Kids Camp and Mini Camp children.

Kids Camp • age 3
Mon–Fri 9:00am–1:00pm
Before/after camp care hours (7:30am-6:00pm) available

Camp Deeny Riback
“Sampler” Post-Camp Week 9 • grades pre-K—6
Keep the fun going or try Camp Deeny Riback for the first time with
this week-long program. Activities include swim, sports, arts & crafts,
cooking, and more. Pick up & drop off from Cooperman JCC, West Orange
or Lautenberg JCC, Whippany.

Camp Deeny Riback, Flanders (transportation provided)
Camp Hours:
Mon–Fri 10:00am–3:30pm
Before/after camp care hours (7:30am–6:00pm) available
Prices:
$425 member/$475 non-member

We are also offering a Week 10 that does not include transportation.
The US Sports Institute will be running a Multi-Sports program at CDR
August 27–31, 10:00am–3:30pm. Prices are $250 member/$325 non-member.
Fast Break Basketball Camp • grades K–6
Do you love basketball? Have you spent most of your summer vacation
playing basketball? If you answered yes to these questions, then our
9th week Fast Break Basketball Camp is the place for you. We will work on
basketball conditioning and skills training to help you improve your game.
There will also be plenty of time for playing games. Groups will be split into
age and skill level appropriate groups. This camp is perfect for the hoopster
who is just beginning this fast paced sport as well as the hoopster wanting to
take his/her game to the next level. Optional free swim each day. Bring a
dairy lunch, bathing suit, and towel each day.

Vacation Programs • grades K–6
When school is out, the JCC is here for your child! Join us for vacation
programs on a daily basis or come for the whole week.
Monday, August 27 Snake Scales and Turtle Tales
Spend the morning learning about all types of animals with snakes and
scales. In the afternoon, we will have arts and crafts, gym, and more.
Tuesday, August 28 Miniature Golf and Swimming
Join us as we travel to our sister campus in Whippany. We will have
gym and swim in the morning before going to play miniature golf.
(Please make sure you send a bathing suit and towel with your child).
Wednesday, August 29 Bronx Zoo
Come with us to the Bronx Zoo. No swim this day; please send your child with
extra sun screen and a water bottle.
Thursday, August 30 Sterling Mine
Venture into the Sterling Mine! We will take a guided tour and learn what types
of amazing rocks and minerals are native to this area.
Friday, August 31 Sports Day
Come spend the day at the J! We will play all types of games in the gym and
will even create our own obstacle course.
Pack a kosher dairy lunch. Space is limited; cancellations will incur a
cancellation fee. The West Orange pool will be closed during Week 10 for
maintenance; please send a bathing suit and towel with your child so that
they may participate in OUTSIDE water activities.
