Jay Michaelson’s latest book, God in Your Body: Kabbalah, Mindfulness, and Embodied Spiritual Practice (2007), is about embodied spiritual practice: how to experience the deep truths of reality in, and through, your body. Michaelson is an award-winning writer and teacher specializing in Kabbalah and spirituality, as well as Jewish law, sexuality, and culture. He is a columnist for the Forward, the chief editor of Zeek: A Jewish Journal of Thought and Culture, and the executive director of Nehirim: GLBT Jewish Culture & Spirituality.
