JCC Metrowest, a Jewish non-profit agency providing fitness, nursery school, cultural arts, community programming and other services, located in Essex County, NJ seeks CFO as a primary member of its senior leadership team. Position reports to CEO. Direct reports to CFO include accounting, budgeting, human resources and information technology.

Strong non-profit fund accounting skills, departmental budgeting and forecasting skills, and the ability to improve and implement internal controls required. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a "hands on" approach, and will also have; a high energy level, good poise and presentation skills for board and committee meetings, strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills.

Non-profit accounting experience required (7+ years as CFO preferred). Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

 Web Coordinator

Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will work with the Chief Marketing Officer and the Marketing Director in these areas:
• Maintain calendar information and content on website
• Monitor website and online forums performance for maximum availability and performance
• Manage monthly social media, email and website reports
• Maintain calendar and create agency emails; provide feedback on emails created by other staff.
• Oversee other electronic media, including Lobby Displays, Electronic Marquee
• Liaison with staff to effectively plan and support electronic-based services and objectives
• Have the ability to work independently with little supervision, and make independent decisions, all while keeping a sense of humor.

Knowledge Requirements:
• At least 2 years in a similar role;
• Solid experience with HTML;
• Fluency in Creative Suite, including Flash;
• Skills in Microsoft Office;
• An understanding of search engine optimization;
• Experience with Google Analytics and social media;
• Experience with a CMS like Drupal is a plus
• Strong attention to detail;
• Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills;
• Superior communication skills;

Special Needs

The JCC special needs services department, is looking for friendly, reliable adults (college students and teachers a plus!) to work in our special needs programs as Assistants and Program Leaders. The JCC special needs services department provides social recreation and enrichment programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities. JCC MetroWest Special Needs Services is looking for a Part Time Program Leader to run two Sports and Fitness classes on Wednesday and Friday Afternoons. College Degree preferred with background in special needs, physical education, sports, fitness, etc. The position is for approximately 4 hours per week, Wednesday and Friday afternoons 3:30 – 6:00pm. Water Safety Instructors/Lifeguards

JCC MetroWest is hiring aquatics professionals certified as Water Safety Instructors (WSI) and/or Lifeguards We offer varied schedules and flexible hours. Current WSI certification is needed for all instructors. Lifeguards need current certification in Lifeguard Training, First Aid & CPR/AED for Lifeguards. Compensation is commensurate with certifications and experience.

New Opening for Early Bird Lifeguard Shift - Must be able to ensure arrival at 5:15am to open pools.

Assistant Aquatics Director - Full Time

The successful candidate will have current certifications in Lifeguard Training and WSI. Certification as an Instructor Trainer would be a plus. Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and background to develop and implement all programming, facilities and equipment related to Aquatics. Primary responsibilities include Head Coach of the Swim Team, scheduling and supervision of all lifeguarding staff. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to employ a supervisory approach that trains and empowers all Aquatics staff in fulfilling JCC service goals.
